Call for Submissions for Journal Theme Issue on Artificial Intelligence and Education
Childhood Education International’s Journal of Research in Childhood Education has opened a Call for Submissions for a theme issue focused on artificial intelligence (AI) and education.
The theme issue will be published in 2025 and will take a transdisciplinary perspective to the topic of AI and education, with consideration of children’s developmental characteristics, cultural backgrounds, and other social-cultural factors.
Researchers, educators, practitioners, and experts in other fields are invited to contribute original research articles, reviews, case studies, and theoretical papers.
Topic include but are not limited to:
- AI-enhanced learning environments at school
- AI-personalized learning
- Social-emotional learning with AI
- AI and assessments
- Ethical and privacy considerations
- Teacher education and professional development
- Parental involvement and AI
Submissions of Intent to Develop a Proposal (Letter of Interest) are due June 1, 2024, and full proposals will be due July 1, 2024.
