Supporting holistic learning that focuses on learners’ academic, emotional, social, physical, and psychological needs to foster development in knowledge, competencies, values, and social skills.
Holistic Teaching & Learning Initiatives
Through our holistic teaching and learning initiatives, the Center for Professional Learning (CPL) supports educators in building inclusive, equitable, and holistic learning environments for all children, including displaced, refugee, marginalized, and vulnerable learners.
Working with educators to co-create professional learning resources and opportunities to connect through communities of practice, we create holistic learning opportunities for teachers where we center teachers as self-directed learners and leaders within their local, national, and regional contexts.
Sustainable Learning Framework
CPL’s work is guided by the Sustainable Learning Framework, a set of disciplines and practices that contribute to a continually evolving, healthy learning ecosystem where knowledge is co-created and shared in a community. Learn more about the Sustainable Learning Framework.
