Webinar Series Will Explore Holistic Language Teaching & Learning with Educators from Ukraine and the U.S.
An upcoming webinar series will feature presentations from Ukrainian and American educators about a variety of aspects of language instruction, including language teaching strategies, using artificial intelligence (AI) in the classroom, asset-based approaches to assessment, social-emotional learning, student and teacher wellbeing, growth mindset, and more.
These webinars represent the culmination of the Holistic Language Pedagogies Project, which brought together 55 secondary- and tertiary-level language educators from 19 regions across Ukraine and eight U.S. states to learn a variety of holistic pedagogies approaches as part of an active community of practice. Several of the webinars represent collaborations between educators in Ukraine and the U.S., as well as between educators in different parts of Ukraine.
The free online webinars will be presented in English. Educators worldwide are invited to attend to learn from the presenting educators and consider new approaches to teaching and learning.
