About the Center for Business Champions
The Center for Business Champions at CE International provides training, tools, and strategic guidance to help ECD and businesses build effective and lasting partnerships. We equip early childhood leaders with practical resources and support, because investing in young children strengthens communities, economies, and the future workforce.
Position Overview
We are seeking a part-time Research Intern to support the Center for Business Champions in identifying and analyzing effective models of collaboration between businesses and early childhood education initiatives. This research will also support the Center in identifying opportunities for strategic growth. The internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to global efforts that strengthen partnerships between the private sector and early childhood development programs.
Schedule
- 8–10 hours per week
- September–November 2025 (with potential for extension)
- Remote
- A small monthly stipend will be offered
Responsibilities
Research and Information Gathering:
- Identify successful business-ECD or business-education partnership models globally
- Research local and national chambers of commerce in target countries that support ECD
- Map regional networks of businesses engaged in education, ECD, or social development
- Gather data on business engagement in social impact and education initiatives
- Track relevant policies, campaigns, and funding mechanisms supporting ECD-business collaboration
Analysis and Reporting:
- Collaborate with CE International staff to analyze findings and draft summary reports
- Contribute to the development of tools and resources for business engagement in ECD
- Support strategic planning and stakeholder mapping for the Center for Business Champions
Qualifications
- Current or recent enrollment in a master’s (preferred) or bachelor’s program in International Business, International Education, or a related field
- Strong interest in early childhood development, education, and corporate social responsibility
- Excellent research and writing skills, with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote setting
- Familiarity with global development or international business contexts is a plus
- Experience with spreadsheets, databases, and willingness to learn new platforms
