Webinar Series Explores How Educators and Policymakers Can Better Support Refugee and Immigrant Students

Temporary buildings in a refugee camp, with clothes hanging to dry and children walking in the distance

In what ways can we — as educators, learners, researchers, practitioners, and policymakers — best address the learning and teaching needs of refugee/(im)migrant students?

Join Childhood Education International and the Office of Global Engagement at Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College for a series of virtual events this fall that aim to answer this question.

The series is part of Learning and Educating Across Refugee/(Im)migrant Networks (LEARN) and will bring together refugees, educators, researchers, and global and community organizations to:

  • Identify key areas of needed research on the education of refugees/(im)migrants
  • Develop intentional and inclusive collectives to both conduct research and use research findings to build necessary supports for refugee and (im)migrant communities around the globe

Register today for any of these engaging conversations.
