Olivia Emery

Olivia Emery, Communications and Content Intern, is a zealous education advocate and researcher with unique experiences as student, teacher, and intern promoting evidence-based best practices in education around the world. Recently graduated from American University, Olivia will be pursuing a Masters of Arts in International Educational Development at Teachers College, Columbia University in the fall of 2021 with a concentration in human rights education.

Olivia’s favorite Chinese Mandarin phrase is “ 巧妇难为无米之炊 ” (qiǎofù nán wéi wú mǐ zhī chuī), which represent the belief that “nobody can accomplish anything without the necessary means.”
