GSF School Team Coordinator Selected for Fulbright Teachers for Global Classrooms Program

Avani Mack, an educator and study abroad program travel ambassador at Truesdell Elementary in Washington, D.C., was selected for the Fulbright Teachers for Global Classrooms program. Truesdell Elementary is working to advance their schoolwide global citizenship efforts through our Global Schools First initiative and recently completed Level One of the program. Fulbright’s Global Classrooms program provides teachers with trainings and resources to internationalize learning in their classrooms and school communities. Avani is excited to use this opportunity to provide global learning experiences that prepare her students to succeed in an increasingly interconnected world.
