Jonathan Apikian

Jonathan Apikian currently serves as the VP of Strategy and Impact at USA for UNHCR, the national partner of the UN agency for refugees. In this role, Jonathan oversees overall strategy delivery, tracking progress of the organization’s strategic goals and priorities, and advancing thought leadership in support of refugees forced to flee. He has extensive project management and strategic planning experience around programs that address the needs of the most vulnerable worldwide. His passion for working with local communities to develop sustainable solutions to some of the world’s most intractable issues keeps him inspired by the human spirit for change and resilience.

One of Jonathan favorite hobbies is exploring different cultures through their food and cuisine—every dish has a story to tell about the people.
