The Handbook for Holistic Learning supports teachers’ professional learning within communities of practice, such as peer-to-peer Teacher Learning Circles (TLCs), in Kenya. The handbook is an introduction to SEL and supports implementation of Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) and Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) as an integrated and complementary pedagogical set for holistic learning.

Micro-credentials are competency-based assessments of an educator’s areas of expertise. Micro-credentials are a way for teachers to personalize professional development and demonstrate their teaching competencies.

Integrating SEL & PSS into Lessons for Quality Holistic Learning

This online course was created with Quality Holistic Learning (QHL) Project Fellows in Lebanon. Ideally the course should be delivered with facilitation, but it is also offered in a self-paced version. This course assumes users possess some familiarity with SEL and PSS and focuses on the why and how of SEL integration in lessons, including a look at evaluation of materials, adaptation of resources for specific contexts, and assessment of learning.
