Begins Spring 2026!
Overview
This Spring 2026 course will explore the foundations of inclusive early childhood learning environments where all children, regardless of their abilities, backgrounds, or learning styles, can learn and play together in a supportive environment. A central focus of this course involves learning how to adapt teaching methods and the physical space to ensure every child can participate fully while fostering their social skills, building empathy, and creating a love of learning. UDL is an especially helpful approach to ensure that children with disabilities and children who may be excluded from learning opportunities and provided with engaging learning experiences and have a true sense of belonging in the learning environment.
Content Focus: Though UDL can be used to design any learning environment across all ages, this course will use K-12 environments across the world as examples.
